The tables in this section are reprinted, with permission, from NBS/NRC Steam Tables. The LearnChemE site (www.LearnChemE.com), which provides teaching/learning resources for chemical engineering courses for both faculty and students, is described. The site provides resources to help faculty implement active learning and flipped classrooms. The site also helps students supplement their textbooks and classroom materials. Update from the LearnChemE group
Hello,
We haven't checked in here in a few years, so we thought you might like some updates. We are currently making interactive self-study modules that include ConcepTests, introductory screencasts (with inserted questions), example problem screencasts, a list of important equations, interactive simulations, quiz simulations, and a summary of important points. We have 36 of them now. They are listed by subject under topics here: http://www.learncheme.com/quiz-yourself/interactive-modules
There are 19 interactive quiz simulations that lead students through processes in a step-by-step manner.
We've added a student section on How to Study/How to Learn with screencasts, a summary of approaches, references, and links to web sites.
And we now have more than 1600 screencasts for 12 courses, and more than 180 interactive simulations.
For those of you who don't know about us, we are a group from the University of Colorado that makes educational materials to help undergraduate Chemical Engineering students with their coursework, and anyone else that wants to learn (or re-learn!) the subjects. These resources are provided completely free of charge and without ads on youtube.
Check us out at www.LearnChemE.com. We welcome feedback and suggestions!
Thanks! LearnChemE
